Seabrook Plantation
Step back into the 19th Century as interpreted by descendants of African-American slaves. This Plantation is located about 45 minutes outside of the city and is very much a 'hands on' experience for the girls. Boil laundry, grind corn, churn butter and even getting a drink of water all take on a different meaning when done in the post-Civil War setting. |
