Tour Policies

Reservations:

All Adventures in Savannah tours require advanced reservations. A deposit is required for all reservations. The deposit amount will be listed for each tour. We accept cash or check. Balance is due 30 days prior to the tour.

Itinerary:

Meals and attractions are included as specified on our itinerary. Any admissions that are not specifically mentioned in our brochures are not included in the price of the tour. Adventures in Savannah reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make changes in the itinerary if necessary and we will strive to give similar value and quality.

Special Requests:

If you have a special request, please inform us when you are booking your tour so that any necessary arrangements can be made. If you wait until the last minute to ask for a special request such as a handicap room, two beds, King Bed, Refrigerator or First Floor, the vendor may not be able to honor your request. If you require a smoking room, please tell us because when we book a block of rooms we request non-smoking rooms.

Gratuities:

Gratuities for all meals are included in your trip. Should you feel that your server has gone above and beyond you are certainly welcome to leave “a little extra” to show your satisfaction. Gratuities for any driver or guide that is not a member of the Adventures in Savannah staff are not included either. Neither are gratuities for any of the Adventures in Savannah staff serving you. If you feel that any of our staff did an outstanding job it is certainly appreciated but this is a personal gesture and given on an individual basis.

Cancellation:

If your tour is cancelled by Adventures in Savannah, due to lack of bookings, all payments will be refunded by Adventures in Savannah. Clients canceling a multi-day tour less than 30 days in advance will be charged administrative and other charges assessed to us by vendors. No refunds will be made for unused meals and attractions involving non-recoverable expenses or to persons who discontinue a trip prior to its completion. We highly recommend trip insurance. Ask us about it.

Disclaimer of responsibility:

Adventures in Savannah is acting as an intermediary or agent for hotels, restaurants, museums, tour and transportation companies. Therefore, Adventures in Savannah shall not be responsible for the careless actions on the part of these suppliers, which result in loss, damage, delay or injury to you or your travel companions.

Adventures in Savannah reserves the right to decline or accept or retain any person, as a member of any tour at any time, and no further responsibility will be assumed by Adventures in Savannah.

Smoking:

A “No Smoking” policy is in effect on all transportation utilized by Adventures in Savannah. However, for those of you who smoke, we have a rest stop every 2-21/2 hours.
